I do, but only sometimes.
People tend to make up their mind and then search for facts to back up their pre-decided-on belief.
But I'm specifically referring to when people say things about you that you don't believe to be true.
In this case, I think it's important to challenge it.
Not for the purpose of being confrontational or "proving" it's not true, but in the quest for the reason as to why they hold that opinion or belief.
Am I doing something that I'm not aware of?
Do I need to examine my own opinions about my character and behaviour?
How you perceive yourself and how others perceive you can be very different.
I guess the closer they are, the higher your level of self-awareness is.
And I'm always trying to improve that.
As the eighth Delphic maxim reads,
