How to Handle Hate

1 min read

I have no answer on this one, but I was thinking about it today.

You must have thick skin to be vocal about your unpopular opinion.

Or just have something missing that makes you immune to other people's opinion or reaction.

That sounds quite nice actually.

Still.

If people direct hate at you, I can't imagine it's ever pleasant.

Avoid it?

Ignore it?

I doubt there is any point in reacting to it.

Being really confident and sure of yourself probably helps.

Of course, there is a difference in being a dick for the sake of it, and standing up for what you believe in.

The problem is when people can't have civilized discussions or logical arguments.

And choose to just espouse hatred towards people with opposite or different views.

I can't see the sense in that (can you?), but apparently alot of people resort to it.

Learning how to control your emotions can be one of the best skills you ever learn in life.

Another great (but perhaps harder to learn) life skill is how to spot and handle sociopaths.

If you've ever experienced sociopathy...

imagine it on a mass scale.

Playing with people's lives and emotions.

Controlling a web of lies and deceit.

Terrifying.

Stay valiant for the truth.
