Oddly Exhilarating

My expectation was to cover my head in hats or scarves that I bought in preparation.

Feeling self-conscious, embarassed or maybe even ashamed.

It's something I always wanted to do, once.

And now I have.

It's all gone.

A number zero cut.

Yes, I shaved my head.

But.

The clichés are true.

It is liberating.

It's also oddly exhilarating.
