Is that too hard to ask?
This is a rant.
But.
Have you ever had someone, out of the blue, bring something up that you allegedly did or did not do from years ago?
I don't get it.
I think it reveals more about themselves than it does of you.
Why didn't you say something at the time?
Why ... have you internalized this for years?
Here are my two cents:
if you are annoyed and you don't say something about it or resolve it within or outwith yourself, that is a form of dishonesty.
if you think you have forgiven someone but you still remember what they did or didn't do, then the fact is that you have not forgiven them.
