Ever listen to someone say something emphatically that you know conflicts with their true belief/feeling/intention/want?
And if someone corrects them, it then turns from emphaticness to insistence?
'I don't/I am/ ... [whatever it is]'
You can tell, somehow, that they are lying.
Usually not intentionally.
But they are conflicted.
Perhaps confused.
Repressing their true emotion and feelings.
Unable to even see that they're living a lie.
Or perhaps they have caught a glimpse.
But it's too painful for them to face the reality.
Because acknowledging it would mean they would have to do something about it.
Don't get trapped.
Be authentic.
